Mount Vernon Estate Events Wedding | Amanda & Randall

My favorite part of working as a Columbus Wedding Photographer has to be the people I meet along the way. Every couple is unique in their love and how they express it, and Amanda and Randall have such a sweet romance. I felt honored to capture their Mount Vernon Estate Events wedding!

Amanda & Randall

Their story began like many couples these days, with “It’s a Match!” on a phone screen. In late June 2022 Amanda and RT met through the faith-based dating app Upward. While there was a spark early on, it took two whole months before Amanda and RT to meet in person. RT sprung for pit tickets to see country artist Chris Lane at the Stark County Fair. During the show they danced and sang, and toward the end of the show Amanda went in for the first kiss!

Fun fact! Amanda and RT were married on the same day as RT’s grandparents.

Mount Vernon Estate Events Wedding

In the heart of Mid-Ohio, Mount Vernon Estate Events consists of nearly 90 acres of idyllic farmland, forest, and meadows. This venue was once a home built by two brothers who were inspired by Washington’s Mount Vernon architecture.

Today Mount Vernon is renovated to serve as the perfect backdrop for your Ohio wedding! With multiple locations for different event sizes, as well as a variety of packages to meet your amenity needs. This is a wonderful option for a Columbus wedding venue that has rich history and options for every bride.

First Touch

Creating intentional time for each other in your wedding day timeline makes such a difference! Amanda and RT decided to do private vows and a prayer during their first touch, without a first look. This was a beautiful way for them to connect before their ceremony at their Mount Vernon Estates Wedding, without taking away the surprise of a first look.

Are Wedding Favors Necessary?

Necessary? No. Loved and cherished? Absolutely. Although wedding favors are not necessary, they are a beautiful way to share gratitude with your guests. With a relationship rooted in faith in Jesus Christ, Amanda and RT have a profound love and appreciation for their family and friends. As a result they put a lot of thought into their wedding favors. If you are looking for fresh and thoughtful ideas for wedding favors, then take note from Amanda and RT.

Everything was personalized! This is an extract measure that really helps your guests feel like an individual in a crowd of many. Amanda and RT made wine as a gift for everyone in their wedding party. In addition, they had custom chocolates made to pair with thank you cards at the reception.

Reception Details

RT is very into music and concerts, so to add this touch of his personality their guest book table was music themed with a record to sign, concert t-shirt reflecting the dates of their relationship, and a few other little details. They even did a t-shirt toss with the custom t-shirts during the reception and it was a huge hit – their guests loved it!

This faith-driven Mount Vernon Estates wedding was absolutely wonderful with such incredible people. It serves as great inspiration for couples looking for classic and intentional touches.
