Choosing the perfect branding photoshoot outfits is just as important as selecting the right brand photographer. The way you dress reflects your personality, business, and brand identity. Ultimately helping you connect with your ideal audience! Whether you’re going for a polished and professional look, a fun and creative vibe, or a casual and approachable style; your outfit choices should align with your brand message.
In this blog, we’re sharing our favorite branding photoshoot outfits to help you feel confident, look your best, and create a cohesive visual story for your brand. These are all looks that I have noticed as a brand photographer from recent shoots. Let’s dive into the best wardrobe choices for your next shoot!
Polished & Casual
We want to be relatable in our brand photos, and the best way to accomplish this is through casual attire. However, you are are still a professional and should be captured as one. I recommend polishing up a look that you would wear on a day to day basis.
Tate Flower Farm did an exceptional job dressing up a casual look by pairing blue jeans with a fresh white blouse with ruffles to mimic the organic feel of florals. As well as a cute cream jumper than gives a feel of outdoor farm work in a more elevated way.

Behind The Scenes Work Clothes
If you are a creator, then this one is for you! Behind the scene photos of you creating your work is essential to brand photography. Wearing your work clothes during this part of your session adds authenticity, giving your audience a true glimpse into your creative process and skills.
Welcome Home Custom chose brand photoshoot outfits that highlighted her brand in her work space. With a branded shirt, hat and work coveralls, she was able to get some candid shots for great behind the scenes photos!

Office Attire
As a brand photographer I get to work in office spaces all the time, photographing office representatives and teams within a location. If you fall into this category, then I recommend simply wearing your office attire. Feel free to add more to your hair and makeup (without going full glam) and just come in as you normally would.
Tim Stauffer wore his typical office attire for his branding photoshoot. In addition to his every day polo, he also added a more elevated look that he would typically sport in a meeting. It was the perfect combination!

Coordinate With Your Team
When working with a team you will want to coordinate with each other on what to wear for your branding photoshoot outfits. Some companies opt to wear matching polos with the business’ logo on it. While others coordinate a color palette that compliments their work space and pays tribute to their current brands logo and colors.
Both The Flour Barn and Kaitlin & Mitch chose to coordinate their outfits for their branding photos. I personally prefer this option as it is more relatable, offers storytelling and photographs really well.

Branding Photoshoot Outfits Tip
My number one tip while choosing your branding photoshoot outfit is to stay in your element. Now isn’t the time to experiment with a new look. It is the time to be yourself! Choose outfits and accessories that are comfortable and feel like something you would wear on any other day of the week. There should not be a disconnect between your brand photos and the real life you.
