To say I watched the weather forecast would be an understatement. Each day we inched closer to Anna and Matt’s wedding at The Beverly Mansion in Marengo, Ohio, the higher the likelyhood of rain increased. With back up plans in place, the wedding day began with Taylor Swift dominating the getting ready playlist and a steady rain fall outside.

But what a break we caught! Just as we began Bride and Groom portraits after the first look, the rain lightened to a drizzle and ended soon after. I could not have asked for better timing. As we started portraits, I couldn’t stop thinking how perfect the venue setting was for Anna and Matt. The breath taking 40 acre estate, combined with the mansion and their shared love for Taylor Swift – it felt like Anna was straight out of the “Love Story” music video.

Anna met her own Romeo at the end of aisle under the sprawling, old oak tree. In a deeply personal ceremony, officiated by Anna’s Father, the couple exchanged rings and sealed the deal with their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Wise.

As they enjoyed their first married moments with guests, it didn’t take long to see this crowd was ready to celebrate the newlyweds! Kicking off the reception with a rocket launch to welcome Anna into Matt’s family, the dance floor quickly filled up after dinner. With no shortage of energy, family and friends danced the night away until they bid farewell to the newlyweds with a sparkler send off.

Anna and Matt – Thank you for the opportunity to document the beginning of your marriage! It was an amazing day filled with so much love and support…and I am even enjoying my rediscovered love of T-Swift songs! 😊
