List of Wedding Details for Photographs
Do you love the styled wedding detail images but not sure what to include for your photographer on your wedding day? You’re in the right place! As a wedding photographer based in Columbus, Ohio, I’m going to break down what to pack, what to ask your florist and what I bring as a wedding photographer. Couples work so hard on selecting the bride and groom details! Let’s make sure we maximize your detail imagery for all those dreamy images!
What to Pack – Bride & Groom Checklist
Let’s make sure your hard work of selecting all details shows in your gallery! Reference the list below to make sure all details you plan are included. Put the items in one bag or box for the morning of your wedding. If you have a veil, place it on a hanger with the dress. Gather all bride and groom details the week of your wedding. This will prevent items being misplaced or forgotten. Below is a list of details I recommend to include for your photographer. Insider Tip: Including a full set of all stationary items is the most overlooked item. This includes – invitation with envelopes, program, dinner menu and escort cards.
What to Ask the Florist
I love styling with florals that match the couple’s floral design. Florals add so much to detail images! Ask your florist to set aside a few stems and greenery pieces for your photographer. The photographer will use these items to style your details! This typically is not a big ask since there is usually breakage or extra pieces that are thrown away after the florist has finished their work. These pieces are perfect for styling details.
Photographer – I bring a styling kit to every wedding to use for wedding detail images. This includes styling mats, a set of The Mrs Ring boxes, a few small dishes and risers.
