Club of Corazon Wedding | Columbus, Ohio

“This wedding is for all of us”, Curt said to their kids as he bent down. Those words brought tears to my eyes as I heard Curt say this to the kids. Tara and Curt’s wedding at Club of Corazon in Columbus, Ohio was a celebration of their marriage and blending their family together. From the beginning, Tara and Curt were so intentional to put their marriage and family at the center of their wedding plans. Their party of seven started in different cities, unknowing to each other but today was a new beginning for them as one family together.

Under the arches at Club of Corazon, Tara and Curt shared a bride and groom first look and private vows. Sharing vows during a bride and groom first look is one of my favorite moments to photograph! This private moment creates intentional time to connect on your wedding day. It also make for emotion filled images since it is a private setting that allows the couple to open up!

After the bride and groom first look, it was time for the kids to see mom and dad all dressed up! The kids were SO excited! They wrapped Tara and Curt in the biggest bear hug! Talk about water works – the sweetest moment!

Once the first look moments were finished, we headed to St. Brigid of Kildare for the ceremony. Tara’s son escorted her down the aisle to met Curt! After a full mass, the newlyweds were greeted by family, friends and a petal toss to welcome them into married life!

We traveled back to Club of Corazon for cocktail hour on the patio! The patio at the Club of Corazon is one of my favorite cocktail hour areas in all of Columbus, Ohio! It overlooks the water with European architecture in the middle of Ohio! Not the mention it is a perfect location for sunset portraits which we took advantage after dinner!

As the reception drew to an end, Tara and Curt had one final send off! Their guests lined the exit as they walk through the final sparkler send off!
