Elizabeth and David’s Spring wedding at Swan Lake in Powell, Ohio was full of intentionality. All details were planned with careful thought including the stunning stationary and personalized details.

Beginning of Swan Lake Wedding

Swan Lake is a stunning backdrop to celebrate and the weather was absolutely perfect the day of Elizabeth and David’s wedding. While the ladies finished hair and make up in the bridal suite, the gentlemen relaxed on the front lawn. They played corn hole and table hockey before portraits.

As hair and make up finished, the ladies popped champagne to officially kick off the day’s celebration. Elizabeth slipped into her A line dress, jewelry and shoes. She looked like a princess stepping out of a movie, absolutely stunning!

Bride and Groom First Look!

After we all finished gushing over how incredible Elizabeth looked in her bridal gown, we headed to the first look to meet David. Situated on the water with the swans in the background, David saw his bride to the be for the first time! It was the sweetest moment with David completely taken aback by Elizabeth.

As the first look drew to an end, we began making our way around Swan Lake’s beautiful property for portraits. It is hard to believe Swan Lake is located in Columbus, Ohio. It feels like a remote oasis.

Wedding Ceremony and Celebrating at Swan Lake

With most weddings, the day was flew by and it was time for the ceremony. Elizabeth cascaded down the long, natural stairway with her parents by her side. She met her groom at the end of the aisle. Exchanging vows and rings, they officially began their marriage in front of family and friends.

The beautiful weather continued as guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the deck overlooking the water. The reception began with a grand entrance overlooking guests on the balcony. Dances were soon underway. Guests didn’t have to wait long to join the dance floor. The floor was soon packed all night. David and Elizabeth slipped out for a private dance together on the patio. They danced together as the sunset by the water drawing a close to their stunning Swan Lake Wedding.
