The Greatest Honor and Compliment

I remember like it was yesterday getting a text message from Abby. As one of the photographers I trust to bring alongside me on wedding days to serve my couples as a second photographer, Abby was now asking me to photographer her wedding! I was so honored! Abby has photographed alongside me through every part of several weddings. She has seen the inter-workings and outcome of every decision made while photographing those weddings. She has the true behind the scenes look. Photographing her and Dom’s wedding is one of the greatest honors and compliments I could ever receive.

Stepping into their Magnolia Hill Farm wedding was like stepping into a dream day. Relaxed and full of joy, the ladies rotated through the hair and make up chairs. The flower girls danced around the bridal suite and Abby’s bridesmaids flooded her with compliments.

First Look Moments at Magnolia Hill Farm

Then the first of many reveals happened. The bridesmaids lined up to see Abby in her gown for the first time. Abby’s gown was simply stunning, fitting like a glove with show stopping sleeves. Her hype squad did not disappoint with reactions. Cheering Abby on as she showed off every detail of her dress to her favorite ladies.

The bridesmaids set a high bar for reveals. Next up Dom met his mom for the first time in his full wedding attire. Dom is the first of three sons to get married and saved this special moment for his mom. After we tucked Dom and his mom back in to Magnolia Hill Farm, Abby’s dad anxiously awaited for his youngest daughter. With Abby’s mom looking on, Abby showed off her look to her dad. Her dad’s face says it all and I loved seeing Abby and her dad’s relationship in the moment!

Last but not least, it was time for Abby and Dom to meet for the first time on their wedding day. Abby and Dom’s personality as a couple shined so brightly during their first look! It was the sweetest moment and just the beginning of an amazing day together!

Celebrating with Family and Friends

The ceremony quickly approached after spending time outside of the property for portraits. There is a lot to love about the space at Magnolia Hill Farm. One of these is the ceremony space. The Veranda provides an indoor outdoor feel while keeping guests shaded from the sun. Abby and Dom exchanged personal vows in front of guests before being greeted by their puppy after sealing the deal!

Guests were quickly ushered into the manicured courtyard for cocktail hour. The newlyweds quickly joined guests to mingle and enjoy their entire cocktail hour with family and friends on the gorgeous summer evening.

Cocktail hour always seems to end too soon but it was time to get the celebration in full swing! Guests found their seats while the welcome speech, toasts and dances were underway. Guests eagerly joined the dance floor to celebrate the newlyweds as they danced into the night!
