After pursuing Mary for ten months and a visit in October, Mary and Vincent began their long distance dating relationship. With many trips back and forth, Vincent planned another trip to Dallas with a specific question in mind. Arriving at the Dallas Arboretum, the rain showed no sign of stopping so Vincent improvised. He popped into the gift shop to buy an umbrella and toured the gardens until he found the perfect spot to propose!

While still long distance, the couple began planning their wedding in Ohio while living in Texas and Florida! No easy feat in addition to Mary’s career, Vincent tackling med school and Mary working to relocate to Florida after the wedding! To say Mary and Vincent had their hands full is a huge understatement!

With lots of planning and packing, Mary and Vincent’s wedding day arrived with a fresh dusting of morning snow at Hopes Way Gathering venue located just outside of Cincinnati. As the ladies spent the morning in hair and make up, it was impossible to miss the joy and love radiating from Mary. In her beaded, long sleeve wedding dress Mary was the definition of class and elegance!

Ready to meet her groom with her beaded veil covering her face, Mary walked down the aisle escorted by her father. Vincent and Mary made their life long commitment in front of God, family and friends at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.

Just a short drive from the ceremony, Washington Park was the perfect location for portraits! I could have spent hours photographing husband and wife portraits of Mary and Vincent. They were naturals from minute they stepped in front of my camera during their engagement session at the Ohio State House. Portraits on their wedding day were no different!

As a sun set, it was time to celebrate with family and friends at Hopes Way Gathering. The newlyweds started the reception with their first dance setting the tone for a packed dance floor of celebrating after dinner.
