The Fives | Columbus, Ohio

From the moment I met Carly and Eric, I knew their wedding day at The Fives in Columbus, Ohio was going to be full of pure joy! Carly and Eric radiate a contiguous joy as do their family and friends.

The wedding morning began in Grandview at a local airbnb. Carly specifically choose this airbnb because she wanted getting ready images with a clean background and lots of natural light. I could not have hand selected a better location! I absolutely adore when couples put so much thought into their getting ready locations. It makes such a difference!

After hair and make up finished first looks began with a bridesmaid reveal. The ladies were the best hype squad as they saw Carly for the first time in her wedding gown. They helped her put on her shoes and double check make up before heading to her first look with Eric.

As Eric anxiously awaited, Carly, her maid of honor and I drove to their first look location. Eric’s reaction was priceless as he saw his stunning bride for the first time during their private first look. Carly and Eric exchanged gifts after the first look before loading onto the Ohio State themed party bus.

Ceremony & Reception

Guests joined Carly and Eric at Saint Christopher Parish in Columbus, Ohio for their ceremony. Carly’s mother escorted her down the aisle to her soon to be husband. After vows and kiss, the deal was sealed and the newlyweds made their grand entrance down the aisle!

With the ceremony and reception locations located in downtown Columbus, Ohio we were able to take advantage of Scioto Mile for wedding portraits. Guests were treated to cocktail hour on the rooftop Terrace overlooking the city skyline.

As cocktail hour ended, guests moved to the two story reception space at The Fives in downtown Columbus, Ohio. The newlyweds were welcomed with an out pouring of cheers and love from their guests. Special dances quickly turned to a packed dance floor with Bluewater Kings Band. One of my favorite memories from the dance floor was looking up to see Eric’s uncle bodysurfing through the crowd! This crowd was absolutely the best and full of love for Carly and Eric!
