The most important of those being your audience’s attention! From visual hooks to personal connection, video helps create an emotional tie with the audience and enhances your brand recognition.

Video content is dynamic, visually engaging, and most importantly can quickly grab the viewer’s attention. All this to say, if you want any type of online presence for your business, then video is a must! As a result, you should share behind the scenes of the people, processes and culture that go into your brand. This can also include products and services being used.

Similar to behind the scenes videos, how-to videos provide a real life look at your product/services. Here you can educate your audience on the benefits of your product/service, what to expect upon purchase and even how to use what you sell! These are popular and engaging, as well as leading to greater sales.

Best Practices

Now that we went over what type of brand videos we can make, let’s talk a bit about best practices. Not only do we want to start producing videos for our brand, but we also want to make sure they have great quality! My biggest tip is to prioritize high quality production. Investing in a professional with the correct cameras, sound equipment and credibility will make such a different in the end result. In addition to helping with production, they will have insights on your content and may help with strategy.

In addition, keep your message short and simply. Being concise and direct will make your videos more effective and engaging. You may also want to optimize your video content for different platforms, so be sure to maintain brand consistency such as your vocabulary, tone, fonts and more.
