A common link across AG Couples are the epic proposal stories! I am so excited to share Brooke and Aldo’s story in their wedding feature! Their story began in an unlikely location – Chase Bank. After initially meeting at work (Chase Bank) and attending an Indians game, they celebrated their one year dating anniversary in the cliffside village of Positano, Italy. Little did Brooke know, they would also be celebrating their engagement! Aldo proposed in their hotel, forever making Positano, Italy a special location in their story.

In between spending time at wineries, Indian games and moving into their new home, Brooke and Aldo planned a beautiful wedding at Brookshire in Columbus, Ohio to celebrate the beginning of their marriage. In typical Ohio fashion, the weather forecast bounced around from sunshine to cloudy to rain and back again.

The rain held off almost the entire day! We started at Brookshire with Brooke and Aldo’s first look. A jaw dropping moment when Aldo saw his soon to be bride for the first time. Then we boarded the limo for portrait time in Old Dublin and German Village. I can’t wait for you to see a peek into their portrait time after the first look! I usually don’t have the opportunity to spend time with couples in two different locations for Bride and Groom portraits but so thankful for the opportunity! It is hard to choose just a handful to feature in the blog!

After spending time in German Village, we headed back for the outdoor ceremony. The rain continued to hold off. Brooke’s brother in law officiated the ceremony, mixing in a healthy dose of Chase bank humor and words of advice for the soon to be newlyweds.

During cocktail hour, guests were greeted with a boho inspired wedding reception and limoncello party favors – inspired by their time in Italy and Aldo’s Italian roots. The newlyweds celebrated with family and friends the rest of the night before jetting off to their two week honeymoon in Italy!
