I am excited to share Lizzie and Nelson’s engagement session and even more excited in less than three weeks I get to photograph their wedding!!
We met at the Park of Roses with a looming thunderstorm hanging around on the weather radar. We decided to go for it and made it through the entire session without any rain and an almost empty park (bonus!). So thankful the rain held off until the drive home because Nelson and Lizzie were dressed to the nines and rocked their session (proof below)!
Lizzie and Nelson’s story has roots all the way back to first grade when they first meet, but it didn’t evolve into more than a friendship until years later during a choir trip to Disneyland. Their relationship has continued to grow through high school, college, law school and a cross country move to Ohio.
Two days after Lizzie and Nelson drove cross country to Ohio, Nelson surprised Lizzie with a few more hours in the car and a trip to New York City. It was during this trip to NYC that Nelson proposed in Central Park!! Totally worth the extra windshield time after a cross country move! (my couples have the most thoughtful, epic proposal stories!!)
Next month, Lizzie and Nelson will begin a new chapter as they walk down the aisle to become Mr & Mrs!
Lizzie and Nelson – counting down the days until your “I do” and so thankful you I get to document you big day!
