It was a chilly, October morning and the sun was slow to wake, sleepy behind the clouds. I parked my car and did a quick walk around the perimeter of the Ohio State House. It was empty, barely a sole moving about. PERFECT, for Rachael and Dan’s engagement sunrise engagement session! I headed to meet Rachael and Dan and wow, they were dressed to impressed with the Ohio State House as the perfect backdrop!

With no other visitors at the Ohio State House, we had the inside and outside all to ourselves! I couldn’t believe it. I also couldn’t get over Rachael’s dress – it was stunning! You seriously have to look at the images below!

We ended the engagement session at Franklin Park with the sun peaking out as we wrapped up the final images. Even though most of the leaves had fallen, it didn’t matter with the amazing landscape at Franklin Park!

As I head into the beginning of 2021 wedding season next month, I am looking forward to starting my October 2022 weddings with Rachael and Dan at the Athletic Club of Columbus!
