One of the first and largest investments made when planning your wedding is the wedding venue. Choosing a wedding venue is a key decision in setting the vision for your wedding and budget. I’m spilling the tea on my favorite wedding venues in Columbus, Ohio and the top reasons each of the venues below made the list!

The Westin Great Southern Columbus

The Westin Great Southern Columbus is located in the heart of downtown Columbus, Ohio. Why I love The Westin –

  1. The historic charm and grandeur of the Grand Ballroom for a wedding ceremony and/or reception is unmatched in the Columbus, Ohio area
  2. Convenient downtown location provides several amazing portrait locations with little travel
  3. No travel needed for a beautiful getting ready space or for guests post reception

Jorgensen Farms

Jorgensen Farms is an organic, working farm located on the Northeast side of Columbus, Ohio. Why I love Jorgensen Farms –

  1. Beautiful maintained grounds provide the perfect portrait locations
  2. Oak Grove is a newly built reception space with a floor to ceiling glass walls and steps away from Lord and Burnham historic greenhouse used for an open air, indoor-outdoor experience
  3. Historic Barn has recently undergone a complete remodel including a new reception space and bridal suite to complement the outdoor ceremony space under a 100 year old Oak Tree

Ohio State House

The Ohio State House in Capital Square has timeless style inside and outside. Why I love the Ohio State House –

  1. The timeless architecture provides a stunning backdrop inside and outside the Ohio State House
  2. SO many great portrait locations on-site that photograph well inside and outside the State House
  3. Flexible space options to accommodate wedding ceremony and receptions during cold months

Revery – North 4th Corridor

Revery is located on the top floor of the North 4th Corridor venue in the heart of Columbus, Ohio. Why I love Revery –

  1. Revery has floor to ceiling glass on almost 3 full sides of the space! To top it off, the glass roof top is retractable making your dance floor open to the stars above
  2. The rooftop patio is the perfect location for cocktail hour with fireplaces and views of the city
  3. Conveniently located in downtown, portrait locations and hotels are a short hop and skip away

Brookshire

Brookshire Event Venue is located in northern Columbus, Ohio. Why I love Brookshire –

  1. Outdoor ceremony location with an indoor backup for rainy days.
  2. The field behind the ceremony location is perfect for sunset portraits!
  3. Reception area has floor to ceiling glass doors to provide an indoor-outdoor feel that fully open to the patios during cocktail hour or reception

Club of Corazon

Club of Corazon is located in Dublin, Ohio situated on a lake. Why I love Club of Corazon –

  1. The European style of the venue and grounds provides a Tuscan aesthetic in the middle of Ohio
  2. Vineyards line the side of Club of Corazon with European inspired architecture that are perfect portrait locations
  3. The side courtyard is designed for a tented reception space to fully take advantage of the views overlooking the lake and vineyards

Retreat 21

Retreat 21 is located a short drive east of Columbus, Ohio and worth every minute of the drive! Why I love Retreat 21 –

  1. Retreat 21 was designed for a full weekend wedding celebration including guest cabins and a tap house for rehearsal dinner celebrations to pair with your wedding day
  2. Multiple options for ceremony locations including the all natural swimming pool (you have to see this!), a ceremony under an Oak Tree that is over 100 years old and indoors with floor to ceiling windows if weather is less than ideal
  3. The bridal suite is huge and one of the best suites in all of Columbus! The suite includes a full kitchen, make and hair bar, plenty of seating, space for dresses and a private outdoor patio area!
